Christy Mallory

Christy Mallory, J.D., is the Roberta A. Conroy Executive Director and Legal Director at the Williams Institute. Christy has helped to build the Institute and advance its mission for nearly two decades. She has authored or coauthored over 200 Williams publications and peer-reviewed articles. Her research has been cited by two U.S. presidents, the Supreme Court, Congress, and policymakers at every level of government. She is also dedicated to mentoring the next generation of LGBTQ law and policy leaders, serving as the director of the Institute’s annual moot court competition, creating fellowship and externship programs, and teaching courses at UCLA Law. She is a regular media contributor and has presented Institute research at dozens of conferences and other events.  Christy received her J.D. from the UCLA School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Arizona.
