Assistant Director of Grant and Finance Administration

The Williams Institute is seeking an Assistant Director of Grant and Finance Administration to provide a broad range of professional financial and operational services to the Institute. This position is responsible for budgeting, financial management and reporting, forecasting, contractual services, payroll, recharge services, management of the contract and grant process, tracking expenses against project budgets, overseeing the hiring process and onboarding new staff, acting as a liaison with the Human Resources department, and office management. Candidates must have strong analytical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to manipulate and interpret a broad range of financial data. This position supervises two staff positions and is based in Los Angeles at UCLA.

Director of Development

The Williams Institute is seeking an experienced Director of Development to lead corporate and individual giving programs at the Institute, including events, gift solicitation, public and private grants, donor cultivation, program endorsement, development operations, and support staff management. In addition, the Director of Development will supervise and work closely with the Assistant Director of Grant and Finance Administration to oversee grant management and budgeting for the Institute. Candidates must possess a high level of judgment in developing ambitious programs that will expand the Institute’s income base, budget, and impact. This position supervises a team of four full-time staff and is based in Los Angeles at UCLA.
