Lindsay Mahowald is a Research Data Analyst at the Williams Institute. Their work involves the quantitative analysis of LGBTQI experiences and its relation to key policy issues. Previously, Lindsay was a researcher at the Center for American Progress, writing extensively on LGBTQI discrimination in a variety of settings (e.g. health care, housing, employment). They have singlehandedly managed a wide array of statistical analytics projects using existing data on LGBTQI Americans, and have helped design and report on multiple large-scale surveys of LGBTQI communities. Lindsay holds an M.S. in Quantitative Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a B.A. in Economics and Politics from Oberlin College.
