The latest report from the U.S. National Longitudinal Lesbian Family Study examines the relationships between adult donor-inseminated offspring of lesbian parents and their sperm donors. It appeared in the Journal of Reproductive and Infant Psychology in July 2023.

This is the first study to look at the relationship of adult donor-inseminated offspring from lesbian parents and their sperm donors.
Most offspring with still unknown donors felt comfortable about not knowing their donors.
Nearly all of the offspring who contacted their donors since age 18 wanted to find out what he is like.
