Sandro Del Rosario

Sandro establishes brand identity and visual strategies and designs printed and online materials to promote the Institute’s research, activities, and accomplishments to the public. Sandro brings to the William Institute several years of professional experience as an internationally recognized artist and a multi-media designer for clients and companies. Born in Italy, he earned a B.F.A. in graphic design at the I.S.I.A. of Urbino before moving to the U.S. as a Fulbright Scholar in 1998., receiving an M.F.A. in Film/Video from CalArts. A former visiting faculty in time-based and digital media at VCU at the University of Richmond and St. Mary’s College of Maryland, Sandro has traveled extensively as an Artist in Residence, designing workshops in partnership with underserved communities, schools, and nonprofit foundations across the country.
