Kayla Wong

Kayla Wong is the Associate Director of Events and Development at the Williams Institute, where she spearheads the strategic coordination of events to advance the Institute’s objectives and promote widespread awareness. Before her arrival at the Williams Institute, Kayla held the position of Associate Director of Events and Development for Engineering and the Sciences at UC Santa Barbara for seven years. At UC Santa Barbara, Kayla adeptly merged the realms of events and research, playing a pivotal role in fostering academic excellence. Her leadership was integral to the university’s success in securing substantial financial support exceeding $50 million. Kayla is committed to excellence and the promotion of impactful initiatives in the academic and events management domains. She received a B.A. in Biological Anthropology from UC Santa Barbara.
