Clarissa oversees the budgeting, reporting, compliance, and grant management for the institute’s various funding sources, and the annual operating budget. Prior to joining the Williams Institute, Clarissa worked for nearly 10 years at non-profit organizations including Para Los Niños and Children’s Institute, Inc. She contributed to the growth of the agencies by implementing interdepartmental collaboration, building databases, writing policies, and streamlining reporting. Through this, she gained expertise in financial oversight and analytics. Originally from Texas, Clarissa moved to Los Angeles to attend Occidental College where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Art History and the Visual Arts.
