Volunteer judges will receive student briefs for review before the competition, as well as materials we have prepared for you, including a bench brief and sample questions. Judges will not be expected to grade the students’ briefs, although your comments to the students are welcome.
Breakfast, lunch, and parking will be provided on the day of the competition. Judges will be responsible for their own transportation to the event.
Judges may receive one hour of free CLE credit for attending an optional educational session before the competition begins. Presenters will cover the legal issues raised by the problem. All judges will also be offered a complimentary ticket to the Williams Institute’s Annual Update Gala Reception in April 2023.
UCLA School of Law is a State Bar of California-approved MCLE provider. By attending this event, you may earn Minimum Continuing Legal Education credit in the amount of up to 1.0 hour of Recognition and Elimination of Bias in the Legal Profession and Society credit.
