- Report
The latest from the U.S. National Longitudinal Lesbian Family Study compares the psychological health of 25-year-olds raised by lesbian parents with adults of similar age, sex, race/ethnicity, and education. This is the first NLLFS report based on data collected when the offspring were legal adults.
Highlights
The 25-year-old offspring of lesbian parents do as well on multiple measures of psychological health as their peers.
Researchers examined relationships, educational/job performance, and behavioral, emotional and mental health problems for both groups.
The NLLFS is the longest-running, ongoing, longitudinal investigation of sexual minority parents in the U.S.
