Rachel oversees the brand and communications strategy with a focus on promoting and disseminating new and policy-relevant research widely to the media and the public. Before joining the Williams Institute in 2017, Rachel worked as the Strategic Director of Communications & Marketing for an environmental marketing firm where she created print and digital communications strategies for nonprofits and municipal clients. Prior to that, she was the Deputy Editor at the Advocate. She received her B.A. in mathematics and philosophy from St. John’s College and her M.A. in writing, literature, and publishing from Emerson College in Boston.
