Mathew Santiago

Executive Administrator and Research Assistant

Mathew provides administrative support to the staff, conducts research for various scholars, and coordinates the schedule for the Executive Director. Prior to the Williams Institute, Mathew worked as a Communications Intern at the Public Affairs firm Fiona Hutton and Associates where he provided research and communications deliverables to different client teams. Before that, he served as an Intern for Senator Dianne Feinstein, supporting constituents and writing memorandums to staff members. Mathew has also served as the Creative Director, Campus Relations Director, Volunteer Center Fellow, Resident Assistant, New Student Adviser and Mentor, and Development Intern for various departments within UCLA. He graduated cum laude from the school in 2019 with a B.A. in Political Science and Communications.
