David S. Flugman is a partner of Selendy Gay in New York. His complex litigation practice focuses on bankruptcy, M&A, securities, and cross-border litigation. He has represented clients in federal and state courts and arbitral panels across the U.S. David has supported the Williams Institute for over 15 years and has represented the Institute as amicus counsel of record before the U.S. Supreme Court. In addition to his commercial practice, David has been a leader in the LGBTQ+ community. He successfully defended the constitutionality of New Jersey’s ban on so-called “sexual orientation change efforts” and is currently representing several classes of plaintiffs challenging South Carolina’s ban on gender-affirming medical care. David has been recognized on Crain’s New York Business’ 40 Under 40 list and by the National Law Journal as a Trailblazer in Political Activism and First Amendment Rights.
