Noel Alumit, Communications Manager
Noel Alumit has led communication efforts for a number of non-profits, including the Asian Pacific AIDS Intervention Team, API – Equality Los Angeles and East West Players. He has over twenty years of experience in the LGBTQ community, working on HIV/AIDS, gay marriage, immigration and queer people of color themes. He is a founding member of the Los Angeles County HIV Prevention Planning Committee and served on the California Commission on Asian and Pacific Islander American Affairs. Noel was a columnist for A&U, America’s AIDS magazine, and has written for USA Today, the Los Angeles Review of Books, the Huffington Post, the LA WEEKLY and others. He wrote the novels Letters to Montgomery Clift and Talking to the Moon, a Los Angeles Times Bestseller.
