Minerva Esquivel Gopar, Executive Administrator
Minerva Esquivel Gopar is the Executive Administrator at the Williams Institute. Prior to joining the Williams Institute, she worked as an Immigration Paralegal and was the Office Coordinator for the Academic Advancement Program Counseling Unit at UCLA.
Her cultural and educational background, along with an unwavering focus on progressive social justice activism, immigration, and the LGBTQ community has led her to a number of volunteer opportunities and community leadership roles with organizations like the Trevor Project, the UCLA Volunteer Center, the UCLA Lambda Alumni Association, and the UCLA Committee on LGBTQ Affairs. Minerva holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Literature and Culture and Gender Studies with a Minor in Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Studies from UCLA. In her spare time, Minerva likes to read, write, cook, watch Game of Thrones, and spend time with her girlfriend and their four cats: Meringue, Holly, Little Edie, and Batcat.
