Krystal Kittle, Project Coordinator
Krystal Rae Kittle is the research project coordinator for the Generations and TransPop studies. Her research interests include health and healthcare disparities in marginalized communities. Krystal is currently completing her doctoral work at the University of Massachusetts, Boston in the Department of Gerontology. Her dissertation research surrounds the healthcare experiences of gender and sexual minority middle-aged and older adults, and the role of intersecting identities and social resources in these healthcare experiences.
Prior to joining the William’s Institute, Krystal worked as a research fellow and graduate assistant for a variety of aging-related projects at UMASS Boston. Krystal received a Master of Science in Gerontology at UMASS Boston and a Master of Arts in Anthropology from California State University, Long Beach. She holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in History with a minor in Chicana/o Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles.
