Social Services & Child Welfare

The system of child welfare and other social services are positioned as major state-sanctioned safety nets for children and families. LGBTQ youth are a significant subgroup of the populations of youth involved in these systems. We examine the demographics and experiences of LGBTQ youth and families involved in systems of care.
