NEW DATE May 22 – Children with LGBT Parents

Featuring Professor Susan Golombok
Director, Centre for Family Research
University of Cambridge

In this lunchtime talk, Professor Golombok will present her pioneering research on parenting and child development in LGBT families. Contextualized by the issues and concerns that have been raised regarding these families from the 1970s to the present day, Professor Golombok will argue that the quality of family relationships and wider social environment are more influential in children’s psychological development than are the gender, sexual orientation or biological relatedness of their parents.
