Randy M. Bunnao, Education Director
Randy Bunnao oversees educational programming and strategic communications at the Williams Institute. He brings together leading legal scholars and social scientists working in the area of LGBT scholarship for the Institute’s annual conference and speaker series program. Randy also organizes workshops and panels around the country for the broader LGBT community and general public. Under his leadership, Randy worked closely with a pro bono team of IT and marketing professionals to overhaul the Institute’s website platform. He continues to oversee all content, design, and functionality on the website and supports the Institute’s growing online and social media presence. Randy writes and produces the Institute’s e-newsletter and other key print communications materials, including the annual newsletter, calendar of events, and program brochures.
Randy completed a Master of Science in Public Policy & Management at Carnegie Mellon University. Prior to graduate school, he was a Coro Fellow in Public Affairs in New York where he interned for the Department of Cultural Affairs, Bloomberg News, and the Working Families Party. As a Public Policy & International Affairs Fellow, he completed a summer institute at the University of Maryland, School of Public Policy. He received his B.A. from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
