ABA AIDS Coordinating Committee Honors WI Executive Director Brad Sears

The American Bar Association AIDS Coordinating Committee honored Brad Sears, Williams Institute Executive Director and Roberta A. Conroy Scholar of Law and Policy, with the inaugural Alexander D. Forger Awards for Sustained Excellence in HIV Legal Services and Advocacy on July 21, 2012 in Washington, D.C.

The American Bar Association established the Alexander D. Forger Awards to recognize and celebrate lawyers and legal service providers who have demonstrated both a sustained commitment to legal advancements for individuals living with HIV and to the provision of direct legal services to individuals infected with, and affected by, HIV. Awards were also given to nine other inaugural honorees, including Alexander D. Forger.
