Hamid Jahangard, M.B.A. – Development Manager

Hamid Jahangard is the Development Manager at the Williams Institute. In this role, Hamid oversees all Institute fundraisers and supports the development department in advancing the Williams Institute’s mission by strengthening relations with donors, sponsors, friends, and supporters.

Prior to joining the Williams Institute, Hamid served as Assistant Director for Conferences & Events at Loyola Law School, where he developed, planned, and managed academic events, conferences, and special events like the Law School’s annual commencement exercise. Hamid started his career at California State University, Northridge (CSUN) as the Program Coordinator for University Student Union Events. At CSUN, Hamid oversaw the development and execution of more than 80 events annually. Among others, Hamid co-lead efforts for the university to raise funds and awareness for the Haiti earthquake victims. He also oversaw several high profile events, including an evening concert featuring India Arie and a lecture by Dr. Maya Angelou.

Hamid earned his B.S. in Business Administration and his Master in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management at CSUN.
